This is my first attempt making a pom pom blanket,for a friend.
it's made on a wooden loom,with nails,a inch apart,the nails being odd and even.
I used three balls of white baby wool for the base and 3 balls of baby pink wool for the top base,that will make the pom poms.
after weaving the white and pink wool on the loom by going round the loom board a few times.
I then fasten in between each of the squares in a cross, the cross should appear on the back in each square,this is a final check after tieing of to make sure you haven't missed any before you start cutting.
I cut in the middle of the main top colour without cutting the base colour this is what makes the pom poms and the base colour makes the tassels.
